(Q)  What happened to the CB RADIO?

(A) TECHNOLOGY & Bucket Mouths

 

The main killer of CB was advancement in technology, new and "better" forms of communication mainly the INTERNET!!! SO GET UR ASS OFF HERE AND ON THE RIG WE STILL EXIST!!!!!

 

Maybe thats not completely true, Well it isn't I know that Internet had a bearing on the Dying radio craze, but obviously many other factors came into the equasion,

Advancement in Technology should have improved CB RADIO but we were somewhat missed out, people simply ceased buying a "NEW" radio and stuck with the models already released, BRAND NEW CB's can still be bought however so called improvements hindered certain CB MODS and complete rig heads were just not interested.

 

All in all we can still save a dying Passion, CB is still widely used and loved, Many good laughs and "rachets" can be had on the "RIG" and with the rising cost of running telephones etc, hopefully there will be a rise in old breakers coming back and new breakers catching the bug and introducing their family members, we need more decent people back on the air!!!
